The Prizes for this competition are a canine portrait by either artist

There are no other prizes on offer and no alternative cash prize. The Judge’s decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into. If a competitor is selected for both categories, they will nominate which artist is their preference, and the second commission will be forfeited to the next runner up. No individual or household can win both prizes.
The competition is being held by the Hungarian Vizsla Society and is being judged by our Patron Linda Suffolk, the Countess of Suffolk and Berkshire.
The competition is open only to fully paid up members or Honorary Life Members of the Hungarian Vizsla Society.
The images submitted do not have to be a Vizsla; it can be any dog of your household, living or passed.
You may submit up to five separate images for each category “Movement” or “Portrait.”
Each photograph must be accompanied by a description in no more than eight words that describe the character or activity of the submission.
The email should contain a contact mobile telephone number for use if an email address is bounced or misrouted.
Photographic images and text will only be accepted by email, one photo per email, submitted to secretary@vizsla.org.uk
Additional photographic submissions must be on separate emails.
The entries must be received and acknowledged, no later than 12th August 2020

The HVS reserves the right to display all images in a gallery on the www.vizsla.org.uk website. The winning submissions and the subsequent artist’s submissions will be available in HVS Publications with acknowledgement to the photographer and or artist.

Rules of the Competition
- The image is ideally 3508 x 2480 pixels landscape or 3508 x 3508 if square. The minimum image size is 2400 x 1800 pixels. Preferably, the image should be.jpg format. The saved file should incorporate the surname of the applicant and have a unique number or reference.
- Entries will not be accepted unless submitted via the official contest channel. (email to secretary@vizsla.org.uk) Entries not provided through the proper channel will be deleted.
- Entries will be judged by the the Hungarian Vizsla Society patron. All decisions are final. The Society reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is deemed inappropriate or does not conform to stated contest rules.
- By entering the Contest, entrants agree that photos submitted can be used by the Hungarian Vizsla Society for advertising purposes.
- Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline lapses. (14/08/2020)
- The prize must be collected by the winner and is nontransferable. The winner will be contacted via the email address provided during entry. If no response is received after five business days, a new winner will be selected, and the previous winner will forfeit all rights to the prize.
- Entry to the competition is free of charge.
- If you are the winner of the competition, you agree that the Hungarian Vizsla Society may use your name, image and town or county of residence to announce the winner of this competition and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes.

- If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Hungarian Vizsla Society may, at its sole discretion, exclude you from participating in the Competition.
- The Club reserves the right at any time to cancel or change a Competition in any way if, at its sole discretion, it considers it necessary to do so.
- By registering and submitting an entry to the Contest, you agree to these terms and all other conditions.
