The Show Team put on a Championship Show an Open Show and occasional a Breed Appreciation Day, each year.
For anything to do with Conformation, the Standard of the Vizsla and Showing these are the team to approach.

meet the Kennel Club appointees for the vizsla

Christine Ryan Breed Education Co-ordinator & Championship Show Judge
Sue Millsom Breed Health Co-ordinator
These posts are Kennel Club appointees who work with both breed clubs the Hungarian Vizsla Society and the Hungarian Vizsla Club, to promote education on Health and Vizsla conformation issues, and facilitate mentoring and support training.

meet the veterinary health advisory panel

Rachael Grundon Opthamologist
Emma Faulkner
Verity Griffiths
We are privileged to have such veterinary experts, willing to give the Hungarian Vizsla Society specialist advice on a pro bono basis.  They are not directly available to members, but if you contact the Secretary with a genuine concern we can task the health panel to give us a definitive and proportionate answer to health issues of the Vizsla.  If you have a health issue, your generalist veterinarian, or referral practice is the way to go.  This panel, give advice for the breed at a National level.

You our members

Your membership of the Society is important to the breed, the Society sets standards on Codes of Conduct, best business practice for breeders, minimum standards to be achieved, and of course within our membership there is hundreds and hundreds of years of Vizsla ownership experience.  Yes you could get all your advice out of Facebook, but why, when you have all this knowledge on tap.

If you want to become involved in any of the Committees, or just be a helper at some of our events, please make contact with any of the Post Holders, who would be pleased to hear from you.

We are also a learning organisation that welcomes feedback, good or bad, considered and thoughtful, even better, we can always adapt and change to benefit the Vizsla.  Our Rules and constitution bind us, but not having a vizsla as your first dog does not bar you from membership.  Whether you have another Hunt Point Retriever Breed or a mixed breed Vizsla we still value your membership.  So if you have an interest in the Vizsla - welcome.

You can send your feedback to secretary@vizsla.org.uk
