Special Awards Judge - Lunchtime classes.

Originally a Shropshire lass Verity Griffiths qualified as a vet from Lucy Cavendish College, University of Cambridge in 1994, after previously gaining a degree in Immunology from King’s College, University of London.

Verity’s interests lie in all areas of surgery and emergency medicine having gained both a GP certificate in small animal surgery in 2007 and a certificate in emergency medicine and surgery in 2016 respectively. She joined Southfields Veterinary Centre in 2002 in Dorset. After working in Shropshire, the Midlands and Oxfordshire. She has built the practice up to become a successful first opinion and referral hospital.

At home Verity and her partner Philippa have owned amongst other breeds four Vizsla, at present Ruban and his daughter Freya, their affix being Ulurudawn. Ruban (Ch Ulurudawn Cardinal Marker) is their first full Champion, both are worked throughout the shooting season and competes in working tests and tentative attempts at field trialing. In addition, they have Sika a Border Terrierist(!) and two cats Tobias and Augustus. When not at home with the dogs, spare time is spent gardening and on the water in Greece where they have a sailing yacht, named.....Ulurudawn!
