Hungarian Vizsla Championship Show
I would like to thank the Officers and Committee for making my day so enjoyable and the atmosphere was very sportsman-like. Many thanks for the invitation it was very interesting and honouring for me. Many thanks to my two stewards. I would also like to thank each and every exhibitor for the opportunity to judge their Vizslas. I had a super entry and my principal winners were all lovely dogs that I was very pleased with. I went over many nice, good type Vizslas especially bitches. I was very pleased with the colours, didn’t find brown reddish vizslas like some years before. It was surprising there was a huge difference between the dogs and bitches. I have found the bitches are far better quality than the dogs. On the negative side a number of dogs on the day looked good on the stack, but poor action on the move, more so in the dog classes. Some erratic movement, without reach and drive, some threw their legs in different directions. The other thing I need to mention is heads, again especially in dogs. Some have too wide a skull with a not really vizsla like muzzle. I found some slightly roman noses, slightly snipeiness, some too pendulous lips. The top line of a vizsla muzzle should be straight, well squared at the end and parallell with the top line of the skull. In the bitch classes there were some classes where I really was spoilt for choice.

MINOR PUPPY DOG 2/2
1 Risley Look No Further At Dalmaigheo
Good bone, size and balance, enough depth for his age, very good feet. His head needs more time and I wish a bit darker eye. Moves well.
2 Sargasbarna True Blue For Pirospont
At the moment he is too high on legs state and not enough depth . Very nice head and expression. I wish better movement.

PUPPY DOG 4/4
1 Topaeris Shadow res Best Puppy
Not easy to handle this puppy but if he calms down looking nice. Nice head but the foreface could be stronger and deeper, very nice colour, balanced body, good bones, good movement.
2 Risley Look No Further At Dalmaigheo
3 Nemzet Kincse Orion

JUNIOR DOG 7/6
1 Carnlochan Jack Frost
Maybe not enough masculinity yet but very good breed type, beautiful head, with nice dark eyes, good neck, excellent top line, enough depth, good angulation, good mover.
2 Nemzet Kincse Orion
Good size, bone, nice colour. His muzzle is a bit too long compared with his head. Good construction, enough deep body for his age. I wish more angulation before and especially behind but the the dog is well balanced and moves well. Wish lower tail when moves.
3 Aldom Dark N’Stormy

YEARLING DOG 5/4
1 Kincsem Dancing Brave at Fiscardo
Good type maybe can be a bit bigger, his head is rather strong compared with the foreface, deep enough body and good angles, nice colour, his movement need to develop.
2 Roytan Zodiac
Big dog on high legs in the moment, nice head with a bit light eyes, his chest could be deeper, good angles and movement.
3 Oroshaza Quinn

POST GRADUATE DOG 4/3
1 Northey Emperor Del Acquadoro
Very good breed type, nice colour, nice head, nice dark eyes, friendly temperament, good size and bone, enough deep body, good angles and movement.
2 Wallaroo All That Jazz
Not as nice head as 1, because too much lips, nice elegant neck, nice deep body, good angles, moves well.
3 Parcroft Qui Gon Jinn via Dallandor

She won with her best movement. Excellent breed type, nice colour very nice head, dark eyes, excellent top line excellent angles, her brisket needs developing.
2 Oakswarren Everglow
Excellent breed type, good bone, nice head, very nice top line and under line, maybe has a bit shorter upper arm, maybe it was the reason she couldn’t reach as well, but the difference between 1and 2 was slight.
3 Russetmantle Compass Rose of Ulurudawn

JUNIOR BITCH 10/10
Very difficult class to judge again because there was about 7-8 high quality bitches here.
1 Nicael Blue Diamond
Very elegant and feminine, nice head, nice eye, good colour, excellent over all balance, good angles, very good mover.
