HVS Championship Show - 6th April
The HVS held its Championship show on the 6th April under Mr Keith Groom (Grunjagen) who had an entry of 114 dogs under him. The results can be found HERE.
Spring Pointing Tests
This year the HVS will be running 3 spring pointing tests as follows: 22nd March at Bainton, Nr Bicester, Oxfordshire by kind invitation of Mr Cliff Simons. Water Day, Widmerpool - 28th June
We will again be holding a Water Day at St. Margaret’s Lake, Widmerpool, Nr Nottingham on Saturday 28th June. This is a great opportunity to introduce your dog to water, the lake has very shallow entries which are ideal for the young dog. For those who work their dogs, do Working Tests or Field Trials where water retrieving is necessary this is the ideal opportunity to improve your dog’s skills at Novice and Open level with more challenging entries and blind retrieving from the island. There will be experienced handlers available to help with training. This was a great success last year, very well attended and great fun – so come along! HVS Working Test, Shelswell - 19th July
